Originally from ticket #1756.
I currently own 4 of your Panorama Pro LED modules and am considering purchasing more. At the same time I'd like to also purchase the newly available aluminium fixture housing (actually 2 of the 18") and either the wall mounts or the hanging kit. My question is in regards to the wall mount...
The rear of my aquarium is approximately 6" from the wall on which I'd mount the fixtures. The aquarium itself is 15" deep, front to back. My question is how exactly far out from the wall, once mounted, would the Panorama Modules "start" in the fixture? In other words is the 6" of space between the tank and the wall too much, would I have to build it up with say, some wood, or is the fixture + wall mount kit going to push the fixture itself out so that the modules will cover my aquarium to at least closer to the front wall, than the rear wall. Also, is there any "play" in the mount so that the fixture itself can be adjusted front to back, slightly...if so, how much adjustment is possible?
Thanks in advance
Thank you so much for contacting Ecoxotic and purchasing our LED products.
The wall mount kit will work perfect for your application. The fixture housing can slide front-to-back and is adjustable from a minimum of 4" from the wall to a maximum of 12" from the wall (this is to the back of the fixture where the modules start.
