Re: Lighting recommendaton 140 gal

Originally from ticket #785.

I have purchased my 2 panorama pro 24s this week. I am still confused as to how to connect them to my APEX for dimming. Can I get some more specific details on how to do this? I saw another post where you suggested to someone that they needed to replace the drivers with Meanwells or PVM controller.

(The Meanwell Drivers are the easiest way to have them work with the APEX controller. The APEX controller does not have any PWM dimmer capabilities (that we know of), so you can either:

1. Switch the included drivers with the Meanwell Dimmable LED drivers (ELN60-24D, our Item#6809) -or-
2. Use a 0-10V PWM controller like this:

We have used the 0-10V/PWM controllers for connecting our Cannon LED pendants to Crestron Home Automation systems. They work well, but the Meanwell Driver will likely work much better for you.)

Attached is a specification sheet. These can connect to an APEX controller by simply using a 0-10V/PWM controller (they are $49.)

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Dear Hobbyist,

Thank you so much for contacting Ecoxotic and purchasing our LED products.

Since the APEX controller has no PWM capability, you will need to use the Meanwell ELN60-24D drivers to dim the fixtures. Each fixture would require two drivers, the attached instruction sheet should help you with connecting everything!

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
The Ecoxotic Team
