I am planning to set up a 90g live coral/fish aquarium (48"w x 18"d x 25"h) Would I be correct in assuming that such a tank would require two 24” Panorama Pro LED Fixtures? Also, I have read that some coral require >200 PAR. How many inches below the light would you recommend as maximum for such coral?
Hope you had a great holiday,
Thank you so much for contacting Ecoxotic and showing interest in our LED products.
You are correct, for an aquarium of this size, we would recommend two of our 24" fixtures. At 24" of depth, two fixtures will produce just under 200 PAR (around 150-175) which works well for almost all but the highest light requiring corals. Therefore, if you keep the corals in the top 20" of your aquarium, you will be just fine.
