Several questions. I have built an enclosure (18x8) that will hold three Panorama Pros, and three 12.5" stunners. How closely can I mount the Pros (w/reflectors) to each other before heat becomes an issue? Would a fan or two allow the Pros to be mounted adjacent to each other with no gap inbetween? Is this even necessary? These will all be mounted on a thin piece of aluminum to help with heat dissapation. Also, can the four-way splitter for the stunners be used for the Pros (ie., as individual control for each module)? Apologies if my questions are pretty basic, but I have limited skills in this department! Thanks for your time and attention. Mike

Dear Mr. Walker,

Thank you for contacting Ecoxotic and showing interest in our LED products. Please find the following answers to your questions:

How closely can I mount the Pros (w/reflectors) to each other before heat becomes an issue? Every application is different, however we do recommend a minimum 1/4" gap between the modules.

Would a fan or two allow the Pros to be mounted adjacent to each other with no gap inbetween? Is this even necessary? Again, it really depends on the air flow in your canopy - fans will help, however we do not recommend having the modules actually touch each other. Chances are, one unit may overheat and blink to cool down. A minimum of 1/4" gap is recommended.

These will all be mounted on a thin piece of aluminum to help with heat dissapation. This is fine, they can be mounted to wood or aluminum.

Also, can the four-way splitter for the stunners be used for the Pros (ie., as individual control for each module)? If you like, however please remember - each Panorama Pro Module consumes 19watts, so you are only able to run three units off one of our 60w 24V power supplies.

Apologies if my questions are pretty basic, but I have limited skills in this department! Thanks for your time and attention. Mike Not a problem - that's what we are here for!

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
The Ecoxotic Team
