Hello, I just have a very quick question. I just received my order from you guys and have my new Panorama Pro LEDs hooked up on my 65gal reef and I have to say Awesome what a difference from power compacts. My question is the lights themselves get very warm to hot to touch is this normal? The lights dont seem to give off much heat just the fixture itself gets hot. Just heads up I did install the rubber standoffs. And why I have you I have a 445nm stunner strip that goes from bright to dim in a delayed flicker pattern. I have an extra brand new 445nm strip that I hooked up to the same stunner strip power supply and it does the same. I have to assume its the power supply what might cause this. Thanks again for everything. Again awesome lights wow what a change corals even opening up more and seemed to be pretty happy as I am. Thanks for your time and help
Thank you so much for contacting Ecoxotic and purchasing our LED products.
The Panorama Pro modules will run hot, and the aluminum heat sink running warm/hot is normal. Our Panorama Modules and Panorama Pro modules all feature a thermal shutoff switch, so if they do get too warm - they will blink on/off to cool down.
Regarding your Stunner LED strip, your issue sounds like it lies with the power supply. If you simply complete one of our warranty support forms, we will be happy to help you:
