I am interested in adding a Panorama 453nm to supplement my 150W Halide. Would one strip be enough for good actinic supplementation? How far off the water do your strips need to be mounted? Would 1" off the water surface be too close? Would these be dimable for moonlighting also?

Thanks!
Jeff

Dear Jeff,

Thank you so much for contacting Ecoxotic and showing interest in our LED products.

Absolutely, our Panorama LED modules work excellent for actinic supplementation. We would actually recommend using one of our Panorama Pro Modules in 445nm - it is dimmable if used with a proper dimmer and is water resistant - so it can be mounted 1" above your tank with no issues.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
The Ecoxotic Team
