Hi I have a small 24x24x15 cube tank, dominated by LPS corals, mostly zoanthids and Ricordea, I am wondering if stunner strips are capable of lighting my tank and supporting the life with in. If so would this be a adequate set up:

1 Magenta 12000k
2 12000k white/ 445nm blue
24V transformer

is this enough? or would it be best to through an additional strip of either white/blue or another type?

Thanks In advance!

Ken

Dear Ken,

We would actually recommend using two Panorama Pro LED modules vs. the Stunner LED strips. They will provide more light and work well for a tank of this size. Go with 1x12k/blue and 1xblue/magenta. You would simply need to add a 60w transformer and a 2-way splitter.

Sincerely,
The Ecoxotic Team

Thank you for the reply, so 2 would be enough to grow corals? And are they dimmable?

Also Do you ship to canada? I am thinking about placing an order through you, but in trying to check out as a guest, to see the payment and billing options, there is no option for Canada. I sure hope you do!!!

Dear Ken,

As it turns out, we do not ship into Canada. Please contact one of our Canadian authorized dealers or an online authorized dealer who will ship to Canada.

For a shallow tank like yours, yes, the Stunner LED strips will work just fine. We would actually recommend:
1 x 12K White/445nm Blue
1 x 445nm Blue/Magenta
1 x 2-way Splitter
1 x transformer

Sincerely,
The Ecoxotic Team
